Giving a whole new meaning to flesh tones, 23 year old Washington D.C. artist Alexa Meade blurs the line between illusion and reality. She directly paints on her subjects with a loose impessionistic style, then photographs them. Meade essentially imitates life on top of life. She will be showing at the Post Masters Gallery in NYC through May 8.
