Because it's Cool |
Do not over think it. This is a mixed bag of things I find and like, and sometimes love. |
Cardboard used to be just reserved just for storing stuff, but it’s made great strides over the last few years.
One of the coolest things I’ve seen lately is coming out of Australia … the Belkiz Feedaway. It’s a recyclable, durable, fold-up, portable lightweight, temporary feeding chair for the hip baby. What I love most about it is that it takes up no space in your car (which everything else for your baby does) and it’s lightweight, because when you are already carrying a baby, and all the other accessories, you don’t need any more poundage.
It’s made with recycled cardboard out of one sheet to minimize waste. It also has a non-toxic food coating for cleaning.
I’d have one already, but they haven’t been brought to the U.S. yet. Reason being is that all materials are local to Australia to cut down the transportation footprint. Supposedly when it does hit the U.S., they will made here too, from local materials. Australian stores were sold out a couple months ago - for good reason. But they are now back in stock - but no international shipping (for the reason above).
What I’m most curious about is: When they do ship it, do they ship it in a cardboard box?
